Pokko: terms and privacy

This is a draft of 14 October 2026 and has not yet been looked at by a lawyer. The app shows these same words on its sign-in screen.

Who we are

Pokko is made and run by the Pokko team at pokkopocket.com. Write to support@pokkopocket.com about anything here.

By making an account or signing in, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Pokko.

Your account

You sign in with your email address or with Apple. There is no password. Whoever can read your email, or use your Apple account, can sign in as you: keep those safe.

You must be at least 13 years old.

We keep your email address, when you signed in, how much of your asking allowance you have used, and your memory, as the next part says. Our servers also record the internet address a request came from, as servers do.

What you keep in Pokko

What you keep is yours. We claim no rights in it.

Your memory is stored on your device and in your Pokko account on our servers, so that signing in on another device brings it there. It is stored encrypted, and the key that opens it is kept with your account.

Because we hold that key, we are able to open your memory. We do so only to run the service, to help you when you ask us to, or when the law requires it. We do not sell it, show it to advertisers, or use it to train AI models.

Anyone who can sign in as you can see everything in your memory. Signing in takes only a code sent to your email, or your Apple account: keep both safe.

Our servers are run for us by Supabase. Each account may keep up to 1 GB.

Do not keep in Pokko anything you could not bear to have seen if your account, or our servers, were broken into.

When you ask

To answer, Pokko sends your question, and the notes of yours that match it, to our server and on to the AI model that writes the answer (at present Claude, by Anthropic). They are sent over an encrypted connection. Our server does not keep them and does not record what they say.

What you mark private is never sent.

Answers are written by an AI model and can be wrong. Check anything that matters: dates, numbers, and anything about money, health or the law. Pokko is not a professional adviser.

What it costs

Keeping things is free. Asking uses a model we pay for: each account has a free allowance, and when it is used up asking stops until more is added. We may change the allowance.

What you must not do

Do not use Pokko to break the law, to keep or ask about other people's private things without their leave, to get around the asking allowance, or to harm the service or anyone using it.

Ending

You may stop at any time. Deleting your account, in the app or by asking us at support@pokkopocket.com, deletes your memory and everything else we hold about you from our servers. What is on your own devices stays until you remove it there.

We may close an account that breaks these terms.

What we promise, and what we do not

Pokko is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and your things safe, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of faults. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss that follows from using Pokko, from an answer being wrong, or from your memory being lost or seen by someone else.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before the change applies.
