Pokko

Pokko for iPhone

Snap it, say it, share it. Ask later.

A pocket for everything you would otherwise lose. Give it to Pokko in a second and it is kept, sorted and on your Mac too.

In private testing; not yet in the App Store.

The Keep sheet
Everything kept, by day

Keep: one press, and it is in.

The plus beside the question box takes anything. What you keep goes into your memory without being sent to a model.

  • A thought. A number, a name, a plan. Type it and press Keep.
  • A photo. From the camera or the library. Pokko keeps a small copy it can read; the original stays in Photos.
  • A file. PDFs and text files are kept whole and found by the words in them.
The Keep sheet
A kept receipt

From any app, without opening Pokko.

A link in Safari, a picture in Photos, a document in Files: Share, then Pokko. Choose which Pokko it is for and carry on with what you were doing.

Keeping from the share sheet

A memory tree that grows itself.

Pokko sits at the top. Today, yesterday, earlier this week and each month branch off below, and everything you kept hangs from its day, marked with what it is: a note, a photo, a file, a day's summary.

  • Private by itself. A bank card or an identity document is listed by what it is, not by what it says.
  • Search. By any word in a note, a file, or the writing in a photo.
  • Yours to tidy. Fold a branch away, open anything, delete anything.
Everything kept, by day

Ask for it back, in your own words.

"Where is my passport and when does it run out?" The answer comes from what you kept, and shows which note it looked at.

  • Nothing to set up. Asking uses a model Pokko pays for, within a free allowance.
  • Say it and it is kept. Tell Pokko something worth keeping mid-conversation and it keeps it.
  • Private stays private. What a private item holds is never sent.
The Ask screen

Snapped here, there on your Mac.

Take a photo on the train; at your desk, ask your Mac to show you the photo you took this morning. Everything you keep on the iPhone is in the same memory as your Mac within a minute or so.

  • Your passport, when you need it. Ask Pokko to show it. It is kept private, so it opens for you and is never sent to the AI.
